The 6th International Conference on Smart Grid and Energy Engineering (SGEE 2025) Successfully Held


From November 28 to 30, 2025, the 2025 6th International Conference on Smart Grid and Energy Engineering (SGEE 2025) was successfully held in Shanghai. The conference was hosted by Shanghai Maritime University, with technical support from IEEE PES, and co-organized by AEIC Academic Exchange Center (Ke'ao Tongda (Henan) Information Technology Co., Ltd.), Logistics Engineering College of Shanghai Maritime University, School of Marine Engineering of Jimei University, Shanghai Intelligent Maritime Search and Rescue and Underwater Robot Engineering Technology Research Center, and the Marine Electrical Engineering Committee of the China Electrotechnical Society.

The conference brought together numerous academic elites and experts and scholars, facilitating in-depth exchanges through various formats including keynote speeches, offline oral presentations, online oral presentations, and poster presentations. Awards were presented for Best Paper, Excellent Oral Presentation, and Excellent Poster. Participants engaged in thorough discussions on the latest trends, research findings, technological innovations, and application cases in the field of smart grid and energy engineering, fostering a vibrant academic atmosphere and receiving enthusiastic responses.

Opening Ceremony Host: Prof. Shilong Xue, Secretary-General of the Marine Electrotechnical Committee, China Electrotechnical Society


The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Xue Shilong, Secretary-General of the Marine Electrical Engineering Committee, who extended a warm welcome to the attending leaders, guests, experts, and scholars. Secretary-General Xue noted that, taking this conference as an opportunity and building on a higher starting point, the College will vigorously promote the deep integration of industry, academia, and research, as well as the deepening of university-enterprise cooperation, thereby further fostering innovation and progress in the fields of smart grid and energy engineering.

The conference invited four distinguished experts to deliver keynote speeches, including: Professor Adrian Ioinovici, IEEE Fellow, National High-Level Talent, internationally renowned power electronics expert, from Shanghai University of Electric Power; Professor Xu Wei, IEEE Fellow, IET Fellow, High-Level Talent of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, National Young Talent, from the Institute of Electrical Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences; Professor Zhang Yiming, IEEE Senior Member, Minjiang River Scholar Distinguished Professor, Associate Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering, World's Top 2% Most Influential Scientists (Lifetime Achievement List), from Fuzhou University; and Associate Professor Ma Tao, IEEE PES Member, Elsevier China Highly Cited Researcher, World's Top 2% Most Influential Scientists, Top 0.05% Scientist in the field of "Photovoltaics & Energy," Shanghai Pujiang Talent, from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. They shared cutting-edge achievements and innovative insights from their respective research areas, offering profound inspiration to the attendees and presenting a high-level, forward-looking, and content-rich academic feast.
